I believe she has been brilliantly written as opposed to the other way more beloved main characters in the story but for some reason people seem to hate her. What does Rachel's dream means? He is likely "acknowledged-yet-controlled", meaning he is not like Anak who is alive based on having escaped. Why would you hang out to the guy beneath the ground?t Same, people being beheaded is a common occurence. If you think about the combination of both of those things it's quite interesting. She tries to kill Bam in the floor of tests. I saw some people earlier talking about how she isn't bad cause she was guided by hwaryun into strengthening bam through her actions, but that still makes her bad. Question is, why she do that? She is a very complex character and not pure evil and selfish one. Maybe he's terrible even without the thorn. So did Rachel know that her actions helped Baam gain strenght and was she guided by Hwa Ryun so that she could give Baam the best chance at survival? Firstly: Shibisu isnt a main character. same thing I guess? If you think about all the big FUG ambushes they were pretty much all direct power ups for Baam following Rachel. She is twisted, she like him a lot, because with him she was the best person she could have been, and they have great memories.

She failed to enter as a regular, so she chose to trick Baam into getting her in as an irregular. Giving idea. could be Jahad's children by Arlene that were born on the 43rd floor (Red Light District...?). want more, look back at their reuinion at the Hell train Station and you tell me how that looks like hate/ jelousy. We have too few informations about Rachel to really "pass a judgement" on her, and besides, all her bad actions or reflections can be "put into perspective" by a "I only followed what Headon/YHS/Hwa Ryun told me to do." Tbh I don't know why fug even decided to make a deal with her, unless it was hwaryun who was doing it for the sake of making bam stronger. (I may be wrong about this). For that reason, she sacrificed everything to make Baam developing his potentials, then make change to the tower destiny, and in the end she can reach the star together with Baam. It has been serialized in Naver's webtoon platform Naver Webtoon since June 30, 2010, with the individual chapters collected and published by Young Com into four volumes as of June 2020. She was too much of a coward to take Headon's test, Baam wasn't.

They entered the final round of the Khun kept her promise and told Baam that the person he saved was not Rachel.

Tower of God received official English translations by WEBTOON beginning in 2014. It is like "do not go Baam, you will be killed!" Remember he was about to march into the fish tank armed with just a carving knife before Yuri made the jump on him? She wants to not be near him because when he is around then she is nothing but a ride-along. She could have let Baam take her to the top, and he would have happily done so, taking any burden upon himself. I think Baam will have this sort of superpowerful-cruel parents who rejected him. Haha Admittedly, only "slightly". Also, the question is how Rachel knows about Arlene Grace? Of course these thoughts aren't going to be shown in the because they would be revealed in a plot twist but she has been actively thinking about using others to climb the tower and preventing bam from progressing. What does Rachel's dream means? An arc dedicated completely to Rachel. She neither has the motivation nor the skills to do any of that. So now as to why Rachel did what she did and how she came to envy Baam. If Baam's obsession to see Rachel is his push, then Rachel's desperation to climb the tower is her push.

My first impression to her was a selfish girl, cuz she wants to climb on the tower living his bestfriend behind,on top of that Baam told her to not to/i will follow you, then she smiled (her smiled is so suspicious to me)then the floor or door opened. the only real bad thing she did was pushed bam out of the bubble and even then that could be debated on whether or not that was evil base on two things; one if she wanted to kill him why just push him? She fears Baam being in the state like he is when she saw him in the beginning. Rachel reminds me a lot of a quote by a character in black clover: "there's nothing wrong with being weak, but there is something wrong with staying weak" it was something along those lines and i feel that it fits rachel perfectly. People don't hate rachel cause she is a normal person and still gets to be a main character, people hate her cause she's a massive bitch. if she really did resent him she would of acted like it in his presense but she hasn't even durign the Hell train arc she acted more reserve then anything else.seeing the stars no matter what is selfish, no matter how you slice it, she basically dissragards everything else including herfriendship with Baam just to see something she only heard in ledgends if thats not selfish then Idon't know what is. We always love a good villain whose ambitions would directly clash with that of our heroes and heroines because it keeps the story exciting, but keep in mind that these villains we ended up loving always use their own means or enhance their own skills or train their butts off before confronting the main characters. Barely anyone would run into a giant seafish-like monster without complaining or are so devoted to some utopicly good believes and persons without considering our own weakness and limits. Still, who knows? She hates herself, but instead projects that onto Baam, whom she constantly mistreats.
