Without seeing how the T8 gun does I can agree the T7 gun is just terrible DPM despite putting 90% or my shots on target and feeling like I was making a difference. Spall liner seems to be doing an OK job against most HE except when hit by T49s/KV2's and such.I would free xp past it but have only enough to free xp to get the T8 once the Challenger is fully researched the old fashioned way.A tier 7 td with 250 damage? To note as well, I do not have a 100% Crew to make use of all my Lvl 7 Skills..I simply did not want to waste the Gold knowing I have 500 or so +250% Crew Skill consumables.So far the tank is best used as a distraction so the team can use heavier guns free from being shot at, as every tom, dork and harry simply rushes my Challenger knowing it's lightly armored and has crap damage per hit. This may be a tank to free XP past. Who still drives that after the grind? Borsig was my darling at tier 8 but this thing... man... Love this thing. A tier 7 TD with less alpha than most tier 6 TDs and no armor to allow it to survive the low alpha or DPM.
So far, I am disappointed at the Challenger at its own tier and above.
So how's everyone doing in this Cromwell with a Port-a-potty in place of its turret?My first game was solid... 2500ish damage win... but then, the o-rings must've failed and the entire thing came apart 73 seconds post-launch (too soon?
